The Hearing Voices Network are in real need of funds to continue their fantastic work. They are hosting 2 great events around the issues of Hearing Voices to both accomplish this, and share knowledge & opinions.
The first of these is a conference, hosted by The Uni of East London on 29th January. I've been asked to speak and share my experiences of voice hearing at the conference, which i'm more than happy to do. Attending a hearing voices group in Leicester really was my first step to understanding some of my experiences and learning to live/cope with them. Other speakers include Rufus May, Sam Warner and Lucy Johnstone.
I'm posting the details they've released below, and will keep updating it as I get more info. I hope some of you are able to come and support the network. Please spread the word and let other people know about the events.
The second event is a day with Marius Romme & Sandra Escher on March 18th, in Sheffield. Romme and Escher published the books 'Accepting Voices' and 'Making Sense of Voices' and are founders of a new way of understanding Voice Hearing.
Woooooo!! I'm all excited
