Thanks for posting. I'm really happy that your partner is lucky enough to have found someone who's so obviously cares for them.

I don't have delusional disorder, and i only know a little about it. I do experience times when i'm delusional tho (as part of my psychosis) and also have a partner who is diagnostically normal (he pretty much says that he's as mad as i am, just that they've not noticed it yet!). I've talked to him quite a bit about the things i experience, and one of the things that i love about him is that he's both interested and open to what i tell him. He tries to understand and i think that's all i can ask for.

What i'd suggest is that, as he's already told you he has the diagnosis, you could ask him whether he wants to tell you any more about it. If he doesn't want to speak about it right now, just let him know that he's free to whenever he wants to and that you're there for him. Be as open as possible, and let him know that you think he's wonderful and that you see him and him and not as a walking diagnosis/mad person.
