sorry I don't have time to read alal the rums atm, got alot of peeps to see for the festive thingy. Got a few things I wasnted to say thoug. not about this forum but about support forums generaly which are grate things. But I get the feeling some peple are getting stressed out trying to run their forums and I wasnted to pass on some suggestions form my ground forum. We make it clear that although nobody has to do anything it's all voluntary so that everyone can help out in some way even if it's just welcoming newcomers or doing the coffe what everthey are able. On the internet you could say that everone on a forum is moderating it in a way that could they report things that are worrying and then the admins would only have to look at reported posts , that would save them time. And then the forum would be self mderating. I don't know if that would work or not. I don't feel ready to be an admin yet partly cos I have to run my ground forum. And also have been advised not to spend all my time on da net becasue would lose confidecne about mixing in real life.
I've also been recognised on the rums by some peeps that know me and I wonder too if we could have stickys with reminder about keeping this private, that not to gossip outside of the rums . Cos now I have to think about how safe these places are to share which is not anyones falult I know.
and I relally wish you all a good season , and hope to cacth up a bit more when it's over !!!! lol all
